Bisbee is a classic turquoise mine. The story of Bisbee many be found in Turquoise in America Part Two 1910-1990.
This cabochon weighs 10.7 carats and measures 2.5cm by 1.25cm. It is priced at $115 a carat or $1230. I have assigned a TG of 91.5 GG Gem Grade. Turquoise of this grade is seldom found in the marketplace and is exceptionally rare. It is not treated and lightly backed. I purchased this stone from Bruce Mead.
