Godber Burnham is considered one of the seven classic turquoise mines in Nevada. The story may be found in Turquoise in America Part Two 1910-1990.
This cabochon weighs 8.9 carats and measures 2cm by 1.25cm. It is priced at $100 a carat or $890. It is not treated and is lightly backed. Godber Burnham of this grade is exceedingly rare and seldom offered for sale. I have assigned a TG of 95.25 or GG Gem Grade. I purchased this stone from the miners Jeri and Bruce Woods.
