Gem Grade Turquoise

Turquoise is a rare stone. The highest gem grade is found in as little as 0.10%, or less, of all turquoise. In this video Mike shows some examples of the highest grade from several mines. It is called gem grade because it is comparable to the finest diamonds, emeralds or rubies in both beauty and rarity. The dark web in the photo is from the Candelaria mine.
