Traditionally blue has been the favored color for turquoise. Historically this was the non matrix sky blue long associated with Persian turquoise. With the development of the southwest tourist market and the demand for Native American jewelry fine blue turquoise with matrix grew in popularity. Beginning in the late eighties and into the nineties green turquoise, long overlooked, began to become popular and today green is the favored color for many turquoise lovers. In this video Mike shows some beautiful examples of green turquoise.

There is an error in the video. The polychrome identified as King Manassa is actually from Royston and is in the Photo Gallery in Turquoise in America Part Two 1910-1990.
