Treated vs. Natural

In this video we see examples of both treated and natural turquoise from the same mine, Number 8. The natural was most probably mined during the late 40's and the early 50's by the Edgars. During the 70's, before the mine was forever lost to a gold mine, Dowell Ward extracted a lot of chalk turquoise that was treated with a stabilization process of injecting plastic into the stone. Today most Number 8 we see in the market is stabilized. Can you tell the difference?
