Apache Blue is the old Turkey Trot mine first located by Lynn Otteson and the relocated by his grandsons Tony and Trenton as Apache Blue. The history is found in Turquoise in America Part Two, 1910-1990. This turquoise was sold as Starburst but XRF analyses shows it to be Apache Blue.
 
This cab weighs 6.4 carat and measures 1.5cm X 1cm. It is priced at $150/ct or $960. It is not treated and is backed with black jade. I have assigned a TG of 92 or GG. I bought this cab from Rob Stapp who cut the stone.
