Bisbee is a classic turquoise mine in Arizona. Its story is in Turquoise in America Part Two, 1910-1990.
 
This cabochon weighs 27 carat and measures 3cm X 1.5 cm. It is priced at $200 a carat or $5400. It is not treated and is backed. I have assigned a TG of 98 among the highest grade of Bisbee or any turquoise. I bought this from Bruce Mead who cut the stone. Bisbee of this grade and weight are among the most rare of all turquoise. White spot is from camera flash.
