Blue Wind is a legendary mine of very low production. The story is told in Turquoise in America Part Two, 1910-1990.
 
This cabochon weighs 5.5 carat and measures 1.5cm X 1.25cm X 3mm. The price is $100/ct or $550. It is not treated and is backed. I have assigned a TG of 87 or VHG. I purchased this stone from Bob and Dixie Edgar. White spot is camera flash.
