Candelaria comes from the Candelaria silver mine located in Esmeralda County Nevada. The history is found in Turquoise in America Part Two, 1910-1990.
 
This cab weighs 24.7 carat and measures 2.5cm X 1.5cm X 8mm. It is priced at $100 a carat or $2470. It is not treated and is backed. I have assigned a TG of 91 or GG. Candelaria, especially at this grade is very rare. This stone was cut by and purchased from Wayne Nelson. White spot is camera flash.
