Candelaria is turquoise from the Candelaria silver mine located in Mineral County Nevada. It was never located as a turquoise mine. The history is found in Turquoise in America Part Two, 1910-1990.
 
This cab weighs 29.3 carat and measures 3cm X 2cm X 6mm. It is priced at $80 a carat or $2344. It is not treated and is backed. I have assigned a TG of 89 or VHG. Red web from Candelaria is considered the highest grade. I cut this cab from rough I purchased from Bob Brucia. White spot is camera flash.
