Candelaria is turquoise from the Candelaria silver mine located in Mineral County Nevada. It was never located as a turquoise mine. The history is found in Turquoise in America Part Two, 1910-1990.
 
This cab weighs 9.1 carat and measures 1.5cm X 1.5cm. It is priced at $90 a carat or $819. It is not treated and is backed. I have assigned a TG of 92 or GG. Red web from Candelaria is considered the highest grade.I cut this cab from rough I purchased from Bob Brucia. White spot is camera flash.
