Carico Lake is the marketing name for turquoise from the Aurora claim licated in Carico Lake Valley of Lander County Nevada. The history is found in Turquoise in America Part Two, 1910-1990.
 
This cab weighs 6.2 carat and measures 1.75cm X 1cm. It is priced at $25 a carat or $155. It is not treated and is backed. I have assigned a TG of 85 or VHG. I purchased this stone from Bob Brucia of Nevadagem.
