Hidden Treasure is one of the oldest turquoise claims in Nevada and has been known by different names. Today it is Cheyenne. The history of the Hidden Treasure is found in Turquoise in America Part Two 1910-1990 and that of Cheyenne in Part Three, the stories of turquoise 1990-2020.
 
This cab weighs 24.3 carats and measures 3.25cm X 1.75cm. It is priced at $70 a carat or $1,701. It is not treated and is backed I have assigned a TG of 87 or VHG. I bought this from the miner, Jesse Robbins. This came from one of the first nuggets they found at the mine. White spot is camera flash.
