Cheyenne, formerly known as Hidden Treasure and Carrie, has a long history which may be found in Turquoise in America Part Two 1910-1990.
 
This cabochon weighs 9.8 carat and measures 1.5m X 1cm. It is priced at $50 a carat or $490. It is not treated and backed. I have assigned a TG of 90 or VHG. I bought this stone from Jesse Robbins, one of the owners of the claim. There has been little recent production and this is among the highest grade. White spot is camera flash.
