Grasshopper is the marketing name for a turquoise from Lander County Nevada owned by Tom Morgan. His story is found in Turquoise in America Part Two, 1910-1990. This turquoise has been sold exclusively by Shreve Saville.
 
This cab weighs 6.4 carats and measures 1.25 cm X 1.25cm and is priced at $17 a carat or $109.It shows a deep green seldom found in Lander County. It is not treated and is backed. I have assigned a TG of 83 or HG High Grade. This comes from the Saville Collection of Shreve Saville.
