Indian Mountain is one of the seven classic turquoise mines of Nevada as defined by Bob Brucia in Turquoise Jewell of the Southwest featuring his NevadaGem Collection. It is a more recent location and has not been extensively mined making it a rare turquoise. The history is found in Turquoise in America Part Three, The Stories of Turquoise  1990-2020.
 
This cab weighs 61.8 carat and measures 4.5cm X 3cm. It is priced at $150 a carat or $9,270. It is not treated and is backed. I have assigned a TG of 96 or GG. I bought this stone from Bob Brucia. It is featured in Turquoise, Jewell of the Southwest with its marching pair on pp. 58 and 59. Museum quality turquoise like this is exceptionally rare especially in a matched pair.
