Indian Mountain is located on Bald Mountain in Lander County Nevada. The history is found in Turquoise in America Part Two, 1910-1990.
 
This cabochon weighs 9.6 carats and measures 1.5cm X 2cm. It is priced at $100 a carat or $960. It is not treated and is backed. I have assigned a TG of 93 or GG. This stone was purchased from the Nevada Gem Collection and is pictured in the book Turquoise Jewell of the Southwest. The white spot is camera flash.
