Indian Mountain is considered one of the seven classic turquoise mines in Nevada. The history of Indian Mountain is found in Turquoise in America Part Three, The Stories of Turquoise 1990-2020.
 
This cabochon weighs 15.7 carats and measures 2.5cm X 1.5cm. It is not treated and backed. It is priced at $80 a carat or $1256. I have assigned a TG of 92 or GG. I bought the stone from Bob Brucia. It is shown in the book Turquoise, Jewell of the Southwest.
