This Ithaca Peak cabochon weighs 40.7 carats and measures 2.75cm X 2.25cm X 5mm. It is not treated and lightly backed. The stone is priced at $4 a carat or $162. I have assigned a TG of 71.25 or MG Mid Grade. This cabochon shows a distinctive Ithaca Peak blue in a solid pyrite matrix. The white spot in the photo is from the camera flash. The rough came from I.B. Phillips and was sold to Nila Brown who sold to me and I cut the cab.
