Lander Blue is an iconic turquoise mine located in Lander County. It is considered the most expensive of all turquoise. The history is found in Turquoise in America Part Two, 1910-1990.
 
These cabochons weigh 5.4 carats and measure 1.5cm X 0.5cm and 1.5cm X 0.75cm. They are priced at $400 a carat or $2160. They are not treated and backed. I have assigned a TG of 91 or GG. These cabs were tested by XRF at West Texas Analytical Lab and analyzed as Lander Blue.
