Lone Mountain is one of the seven classic turquoise mines of Nevada. The history is found in Turquoise in America Part Two, 1910-1990.
 
This four cab group weighs 11.1 carat and each cab measures about 1cm X 1cm. They are priced at $90 a carat or $999. They are not treated and are backed. I have assigned a TG of 86 or VHG. These were cut by Wayne Nelson when he worked at Lone Mountain in 1975 and purchased from him.
