Morenci is a famous Arizona turquoise long associated with the Brown family. The history is found in Turquoise in America Part Two, 1910-1990.
 
This cabochon weighs 13.5 carats and measures 2.25cm X 1.5cm. It is not treated and lightly backed. It is priced at $10 a carat or $135. I have assigned a TG of 74 or MG Mid Grade. I purchased this cab from Brown Trading. It shows a lighter blue with the characteristic pyrite found in Morenci.
