Nisgabuor is the oldest continuously mined turquoise mine in the world. Persian turquoise was the first to be mined as early as 7000 BC.
This ring weighs 18.7 carats of the highest-grade Shajari Nishabuor turquoise. It measures 2.25cm X 1.5cm X 7mm. It is not treated and unbacked. It is priced at $80 a carot or $1496. I have assigned a TG of 91 or GG. This grade of Persian Shajari matrix has become very rare and more difficult to source. I purchased this stone from Shahriyar Zamansani. White spot is camera flash.
