Pixie was a mine that bordered the Fox in the south end of Crescent Valley. The story is told in Turquoise in America Part Two, 1910-1990.

This cabochon weighs 29.4 carat and measures 3cm X 2cm X 5mm. It is priced at $20 a carat or $588. It is not treated and is backed. I have assigned a TG of 80 or HG. High grade Pixie is rare especially showing the desirable green. I purchased this cab from Wayne Nelson who bought it from Bozo Quinn who mined the stone. White spot is camera flash.
