Pixie was a mine that bordered the Fox in the south end of Crescent Valley. The story is told in Turquoise in America Part Two, 1910-1990.

This cabochon weighs 36.2 carat and measures 3cm X 2cm X 8mm. It is priced at $20 a carat or $724. It is not treated and is backed. I have assigned a TG of 80 or HG. High grade Pixie is rare especially showing the desirable green. I purchased this cab from Wayne Nelson who bought it from Bozo Quinn who mined the stone.White spot is camera flash.
