Red Mountain is one of the classic turquoise mines of Nevada. The history is told in Turquoise in America Part Two, 1910-1990.
 
These cabochons weigh 7.8 carats and measure 1.5cm X 1cm each. They are priced at $40 a carat or $312. They are not treated and backed. I have assigned a TG of 90-91 VHG-GG.
