Villa Grove is a famous turquoise mine in Colorado. The story is told in Turquoise in America Part Two, 1910-1990.
 
This small cab weighs 1.7 carats and measures 1cm X 0.75cm. and is priced at $60 a carat or $102. It is not treated and unbacked. I have assigned a TG of 86 or VHG Very High Grade. This cab comes from the personal collection of Menless Winfield purchased from Winfield Trading and represents the highest grade of Villa Grove, very rare and seldom found in the market.
